About message fields
The following message fields are normally used in the envelope portion of a message form:


Message icon
The icon displayed for messages in Mailboxes and conferences. The user who sends the message can change the icon, but you select the default.
Message status
Displays information on whether a message has been sent. Before a message is sent, this reads Unsent Message.
Message date
Shows the date a message was sent.
From: (field label)
A label (usually From:) for the "From" field. You normally accept the default attributes to make the field protected and not editable.
From name
Filled in by the server with the message sender's name.
Subject: (field label)
A label (usually Subject:) for the "Subject" field. You normally accept the default attributes to make the field protected and not editable.
Subject
The message subject. This field is editable on unsent messages, but not on sent messages.
To: (field label)
A label (usually To:) for the "To" field. You normally accept the default attributes to make the field protected and not editable.
To names
The list of message recipients. This field is editable on unsent messages, but not on sent messages. It expands to fit the number of names entered.
Cc: (field label)
A label (usually Cc:) for the "Cc" field. You normally accept the default attributes to make the field protected and not editable.
Cc names
The list of recipients of carbon copies of the message. This field is editable on unsent messages, but not on sent messages. It expands to fit the number of names entered.
Bcc: (field label)
A label (usually Bcc:) for the "Bcc" field. You normally accept the default attributes to make the field protected and not editable.
Bcc names
The list of recipients of blind carbon copies of the message. This field is editable on unsent messages, but not on sent messages. It expands to fit the number of names entered. Recipients listed in the "To" and "Cc" fields of a message cannot see the recipients listed in the "Bcc" field.
Attachments: (field label)
A label (usually Attachments:) for the list of attachments. You normally accept the default attributes to make the field protected and not editable. It is invisible if a message has no attachments.
List of attachments
The list of attachment names. This field expands to fit the number of attachments.
Postmark
Usually an icon or picture. This field is invisible until the message has been sent.




Adding message fields
1       Choose Fields > Message Fields, then the type of field you want to add.
2       Add this field to the form.
